Konkan Railway Corporation (KRCL) has floated a tender for the construction of a bow string steel arch major bridge (two nos.) across river Iravanjippuzha (Package-I) in Kozhikode district of Kerala
The work includes a four-lane approach road, box culverts, VUPs for direct connectivity between Anakkampoyil-Kalladi-Meppadi from km 0.000 to km 0.460 for a project length of 0.460 km, and would be undertaken on engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) basis
The contract is worth Rs 93.12 crore, and stipulates completion in a 24-month timeline. The defects liability period (DLP) post construction extends to10 years
